Jamil was born on February 25, 1986, in Hampstead, London, to a Pakistani mother and Indian mother, Ali Jamil and Shireen Jamil. She revealed in 2015 that he was born with a congenital malformation and labyrinthitis. She had undergone several surgeries to correct it and that she had a 70% hearing loss in his left ear and 50% in his right ear.

Jameela Jamil also said she was diagnosed with celiac disease age of 12. He discovered the poison of mercury at the age of 21, which he attributed to the leak of mercury from the filling of amalgam teeth, and further improper removal, he said, announcing that there were pit burn in his digestive system.
